Listening to or reading the news and commentary is often a challenge to one’s logic in the present day Orwellian-like world. One person says absolutely one thing is true and another person says absolutely the opposite, and both are allegedly knowledgeable in the facts of what transpired or who said what or the law involving it all. Not possible. Not possible at all. The “truth” can’t change upon demand.
The New York Times stated there was a wiretap on a Trump Tower server. (They allegedly have an inside source.) Discussion of the Trump Tower server was everywhere. Now, though, we have congressmen coming out and saying that there was no such wiretap or surveillance.
“Based on the information available to us, we see no indications that Trump Tower was the subject of surveillance by any element of the United States government either before or after Election Day 2016.” – 11 ABC – March 16, 2017
There was. Prior to the election, the server issue was big news and what was going to prove that Trump and/or his campaign had direct ties to Russia. Do these congressmen think they can rewrite history and we will believe their new version though we still keenly remember the actual version?
Perhaps that is exactly what they think. However, there is a flaw in their thinking and their efforts: truth, logic and the front page of the New York Times.
It isn’t just the New York Times. Hillary Clinton & Pals were apparently quite excited about the alleged Russian ties the server investigation suggested. The investigation that the congressmen are now trying to claim never took place.

So, if there was no government surveillance that uncovered the Trump Tower server that was thought to be the gateway to Russia and then discovered not to be, who discovered it and who confirmed it wasn’t as alleged? If it wasn’t the government, it must have been a hacker and if it was a hacker, how did the New York Times conclude that “American law enforcement and intelligence agencies are examining intercepted communications and financial transactions as part of a broad investigation into possible links between Russian officials… “?
Would the New York Times like to explain?
Senators Burr and Warner look as though they are playing word games by saying that Trump wasn’t the “subject” of surveillance.
Government officials may deny (on technicality) there was a “wiretap” or surveillance specifically directed at Trump but it makes no difference, if he was included and someone leaked information – it’s all the same. It might as well have been directed at him because it was then reported initially as though it was. And, someone did call for the unmasking and sharing, didn’t they? Just who gave that order? And why did they give that order? Did it have something to do with the 2016 election?
After months of investigation, there is absolutely no evidence of collusion between Trump (and his campaign) and the Russians, so we must continue the investigation according to many of the Democrats, radical liberals, media and anti-Trump people. Yet, on the other hand, without any true investigation and only days since his tweet – Trump is wrong… Trump lied… there is allegedly no evidence of wiretapping or surveillance and no further investigation is necessary?
Excuse me? What is wrong with this thought pattern?
Someone was doing something or no one would be talking about the Trump Tower server and possible Russian connection that had Hillary Clinton & Pals so excited. Yet, we are to believe that in a day or two, Comey et al had enough time to thoroughly check out all the possibilities (including a rouge agent acting on the behalf of someone) of wrongful surveillance on Trump? Really?
I don’t think so.
Someone is leaking information. (We all know that for a fact.) Why doesn’t Comey know who those people are? Why aren’t charges filed on them already? He has had more time to work on that than on Trump’s allegation of being under surveillance. He can’t isolate the leakers or their handlers, but he can assure us that none of them did, in fact, call for surveillance on Trump?
We know someone was checking on a server they believed to be Trump’s connection to Russia. It wasn’t though. So now the story has changed to “how dare Trump accuse the former administration of spying on him”? He’s wrong. He’s lying. It never happened. It was never said. It was never suggested.
George Orwell never wrote “1984” either. He never suggested a world where those in power freely rewrote history to create whatever illusion they desired at any point in time. He never but he did. He simply had the year wrong.
Orwellian News: When the truth changes upon demand to whatever the radical libs and anti-Trump folks decide fits their narrative!
